Our philosophy

iKids Learning Center has been providing quality after school programs, summer school programs, and Kaplan test prep classes in the San Gabriel Valley since our founding in 2006. It is our mission to ensure the academic success of our students. We believe that the best way to achieve this goal is to provide a caring environment in which students are monitored and taught with discipline by experienced and supportive teachers.
 iKids stands for intelligent kids, independent kids, intuitive kids, and intellectual kids. iKids Learning Center accomplishes these tasks for busy working parents while assisting students with their academic endeavors.

Learning

English Writing
Teach and review advanced material tailored to each student's needs according to their level; expand vocabulary, and improve writing skills.
Math
Students will learn various math skills based on their level. Classes include basic math, pre-algebra, algebra I and geometry.
Science
Students will learn and review an array of material including biology, chemistry, and more!
Reading Comprehension
Students will learn reading strategies specifically to target reading comprehension, fluency, and sight words

Our programs

iKids Learning Center works with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in efforts to help them achieve their goals and reach their academic potential in core academic subjects (Math, English, Science, Social Studies). Our programs include personal academic coaching, positive reinforcement, and curriculum activities that adapt to each student’s pace and ability
After-School Program
Our after-school program is for students in grades K-12. The student to teacher ratio is 9:1.

Our summer program is for students grades K-8. Students will be taught various subjects, provided snacks, and even attend field trips.

Our approach

Your child’s needs are unique and thus the way they should be taught should be tailored to their individual needs. At iKids Learning Center, we focus on a teacher to student ratio of 1:9 to ensure that students are getting adequate attention for every day that they come. With schools utilizing more digital means in education, it is important to ensure that students are using these tools accordingly to meet their goals. We collaborate with your child’s teacher to follow their standards progress and monitor their in-class behavior. We reinforce skills they learn in class through homework assistance and enrichment tailored to their grade level. For children looking for a challenge, we provide work at progressing difficulties to both ensure that they don’t get overwhelmed with the information and to help them build a strong foundation. We look forward to serving you and your child’s needs.
